As I prepare to step onto the Miss Great Britain stage this Friday, I wanted to dedicate this final chapter of my journey to something much greater than myself. This fundraiser supports A Sisterhood, an organisation that empowers, protects, and uplifts women around the world. One of their key causes is supporting acid attack and domestic abuse survivors—women who have faced unthinkable trauma yet continue to rise with courage and grace. Through this campaign, we are helping to fund safe housing, counselling, education, and rehabilitation programs that allow survivors to rebuild their confidence, regain independence, and reclaim their future. For me, this is what true sisterhood is about—standing together for women who have lost their voices and reminding them that they are seen, valued, and worthy of new beginnings. Through this fundraiser, i’m combining two very special causes, that i keep close to my heart. Keep Moving Forward UK was started by myself in 2023 to help young people with their mental health. This turned into a website, a social media page and an outlet for those who needed it. I took this a step further by visiting my local Youth Groups to educate them on the importance of their mental health, through Keep Moving Forward UK. Not only have i loved the A-Sisterhood message, motto and values, i’m now combining my love for helping others, and fundraising for a not-for-profit charity that i adore.
