I’m Ava Morgan, the current Miss Great Britain 2025, and I am currently in India (after raising £3000 for this organisation) on a humanitarian visit, working closely with charities and organisations that are making a real difference to women’s lives. Through my journey, I’ve been highlighting issues such as stop acid attacks, encouraging women’s empowerment, and the need for safe spaces, which you may have seen on my social media. I am raising vital funds to support inspiring organisations including Sheroes Hangout and others, who dedicate their work to helping survivors rebuild their lives and empowering women to thrive. This October I am participating in The Drop in Manchester – possibly the most thrilling and challenging race in the UK, inspired by a dash of military know-how! How it Works: Registration: Hand over all electronic devices, watches, navigational aids. In return, I’ll receive a race number and an emergency bag. The Journey Begins: Board the bus, don blackout blindfold, and prepare to be driven to an undisclosed drop-off location. The Challenge: From there, I'll need to find my way back to the event centre. The 10 mile distance is measured as the crow flies. No map No GPS No route No help No compass From the moment I step off the bus, I'm on my own. Run, walk, or crawl – I have to find my way back using nothing but my wits, determination, and sense of direction. I'm also adding an extra layer of difficulty for myself by doing this event in a city I'm completely unfamiliar with.My Fundraising Target
